Privacy Policy

RoomCart (“RoomCart”, “we”, “us”), operated by CloudSourcing Sdn. Bhd., provides AI virtual staging, shoppable product carts, reveal videos, and branded showcase pages for real-estate professionals. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

• Account & profile: name, email, phone, brokerage/agency, license or REN/REA number, headshot, brand color, logo, and your selected market (US/MY).
• Content you upload or generate: room photos you upload, the staged images and reveal videos we generate, listing details (address, price, beds/baths/sqft, description), and the shoppable cart items matched to your listings.
• Billing: your plan, credit ledger, and subscription status. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor (Stripe) — we never receive or store your full card number.
• Leads: when a buyer contacts you from a showcase page, we collect the name, email, optional phone, and message they submit, and route it to you.
• Usage & device: log data, approximate location derived from your browser timezone (for a default market suggestion only), and basic analytics needed to run and secure the service.

2. How we use it

• To provide the service — generate staged images/videos, match shoppable products, build showcase pages, and capture leads for you.
• To process payments, grant credits, and manage subscriptions and team seats.
• To send transactional emails (lead notifications, team invites, receipts, account/security messages).
• To secure, debug, and improve the service, and to comply with legal obligations.

3. AI processing

Staging and reveal generation use Google Vertex AI (Gemini and Veo). Room photos you upload are sent to Google to produce your outputs. We do not sell your photos, and we do not use your uploaded photos or listings to train our own models. Google processes them as our service provider under its terms; generated outputs are returned to your account.

4. Service providers we share data with

We share only what each provider needs to perform its function:

• Google Firebase & Google Cloud — authentication, database, and file storage.
• Google Vertex AI — image (Gemini) and video (Veo) generation.
• Stripe — payment processing and the customer billing portal.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Product-data providers (e.g. OpenWeb Ninja, Apify) — to build our catalog of buyable products. This happens at ingestion time and does not involve your personal data.
• Affiliate networks & marketplaces (e.g. Amazon, Walmart, Home Depot, Shopee, Lazada, IKEA) — when buyers click “Buy” links, those sites apply their own privacy practices.
• OpenStreetMap (Nominatim) — to geocode a listing address for the showcase map.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies/local storage to keep you signed in and to operate the service. We do not use them for third-party advertising.

6. Data retention

We keep your account data while your account is active. You can delete individual listings (and their staged rooms) at any time from the app. To delete your account and associated data, contact us — we’ll remove it within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records (e.g. payment/tax records) by law.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these, email support@roomcart.app.

8. Security

Access is authenticated and scoped per account, data is stored with Google Cloud, and payments are handled by Stripe (PCI-DSS). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

9. International transfers

We operate from Malaysia and process data using Google Cloud and other providers that may store or process data in the United States and elsewhere. By using RoomCart, you consent to these transfers.

10. Children

RoomCart is for real-estate professionals and is not directed to anyone under 18.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. We’ll change the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
